Feasting & Bitcoin – A Problem Worth Solving

Well, that was a clot of fun.

Our first ever Feast+Bitcoin evening went off with a bang, and a very good espresso martini, thanks to Harry from La Cruz Coffee, who lugged his beans all the way from the Central American jungle.

Thirty-two guests joined us from across the UK and even El Salvador. Yes, El Salvador! Proof, if ever it were needed, that Bitcoiners are not only passionate but positively intrepid. The room was buzzing from the first clink of glasses. The menu delivered six delicious courses, with duck liver parfait and truffle brioche, broad bean ravioli, smoked brisket and for those with some space left an affogato make with Harrys wonderful coffee.

After pudding, Joe “What’s the Problem” Bryan joined Jordon Walker for a Q&A that was insightful, inspiring, and refreshingly jargon-free. Joe made the case for Bitcoin in plain English, why it matters, how it’s helping people build stronger businesses, and how it can protect the value you’ve worked hard for. He was kind enough to mention me and Feast as an example of embracing new ideas and being met with genuine support.

The vibe? Electric. It was brilliant to see people relaxed, talking freely, and not feeling the need to whisper the word “Bitcoin” like it was something they needed to apologise for. Even better was seeing guests bring partners, parents, and friends who might not be deep in the Bitcoin rabbit hole, but still had a great night of food, wine and top-drawer chat.

If you missed it, don’t worry. We’re already plotting the next Feast + Bitcoin night with more inspiring voices and of course a delicious menu to compliment. As I continue to lean into Bitcoin, if feels like having a jet pack strapped to your back as it slings you forward into a brave new world. All I can say is I am here for it and I am excited to see where these Feast+Bitcoin events take me. So get your sats ready and your appetite primed.

See you soon,

Henry & Jess x
